MJH Ceramics is a contemporary ceramic studio based in Sydney, Australia, founded by Chilean designer and ceramic artist Maria Jose Heitzer.

With a background in design, Maria’s work sits at the intersection of functionality, material exploration and quiet sculptural expression. Each piece is hand-built, guided by organic forms, subtle irregularities and a deep respect for the nature of clay.

Her practice moves between functional homewares, illustrated collections and sculptural works, all connected by a shared language — refined shapes, thoughtful craftsmanship and a calm, timeless aesthetic.

Inspired by landscapes, everyday rituals and a sense of place, MJH Ceramics celebrates objects made to be lived with, touched and used over time.

All pieces are handmade in small batches, embracing variation as part of their character.
